Alnwick Brewery circa 1890
Alnwick is a Northumbrian Market Town, in the North East of England. Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden make it a popular destination for tourists.
Alnwick has a long and interestng history dating back to the building of the first castle next to the River Aln in the 11th Century. The history of Alnwick Brewery dates back to the late 1700's and forms an intgeral part of Alnwick’s history.
The Alnwick Brewery Company Ltd was among the first limited companies ever formed in the UK with the introduction of The Company’s Act of 1890.
The brand is making its long awaited comeback thanks to Ian Linsley who has also resurrected the legendary Alnwick Rum brand.
